This afternoon, when things were getting developed something took my attention. It was none other than a universal design system that today’s internet follows. Let me explain what I mean by universal design.

I’d like to define a universal design system by a set of rules, guidelines, and branding that we experience in everyday life. Want me to define more? Cool So let’s talk about our house’s interior design, usually, the front door enters you to its hall room. But imagine someone wanted to enter the bedroom directly but he cannot, right? We are so focused on our regular design system that we try to ignore the fact that there might be someone who would prefer to enter the bedroom directly just like me. The conclusion is very simple, there might be some group of people who would prefer a change in universal design rather than following a traditional way of doing things.

The design system of tomorrow is a concept that will not only let us explore ourselves but to understand the brain's functioning in doing things. There’s a group of singers who wanted a custom YouTube application and they wanted the music section to open up first in their homepage, wouldn’t it be nice and also let YouTube build their sales by dumping many music platform applications? Have you wondered why a YouTube music application is different from a YouTube application? Wouldn’t it be nice to create one application for all entertainment in one place? wouldn’t it save our phone’s space? Just to compete with other music applications we launch music applications. Sadly yes, we have been doing things this way for over a decade or two and we will continue for quite some time.

There are many people who have very innovative needs, but no one’s there to listen to them. We are so stuck in traditional design thinking that we fear trying things out. We are so rushed in competing with each other that we have created 5+ applications for the same payment method, Personally, I have 4 applications. What I want to convey is that we are so blind that we are not focusing our energy on the right direction. There might be a tomorrow where we direct and optimize human work power, where there will be only one application with no competition, a place with more useful applications rather than serving the same purpose as others.

I’m sure that one day we’ll unlock our barrier of competing with each other and focus on new innovative things, a utopia that everyone needs! Till then peace.
